From the introduction of the Chevrolet Impala by General Motors for the 1958 model year, it has evolved in leaps and bounds to its present edition. The most expensive passenger model for the car manufacturer through 1965, it became their best selling automobile in the United States of America. It derived its name from the southern African antelope and has consistently and successfully competed with other fore-runners in its category.

The latest Chevrolet Impala edition is available in the LS, LT and LTZ models. The Luxury edition package is included in the LTZ model and can be opted for by the LT model owners. The climate controls are dual zone for the LS and LTZ models. In contrast, the climate controls are single zone for the LS models.

The overall length, width and height of the passenger van models is 200.4 inches, 72.9 inches and 58.7 inches respectively. Four warranty options are available for the owners of the Chevrolet Express Passenger Vans. The warranty options are inclusive of the Bumper-to-bumper limited warranty, Rust warranty, Roadside assistance program and the Powertrain limited warranty. The fuel tank can hold approximately 17.5 Gallons. The LS and LT models have a mileage of 19 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. In contrast, the LTZ model has a mileage of 17 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway.
